Just a week before the announcement of Samsung’s new products, one of the company’s gadgets included in the future presentation program fell into the hands of insiders. The blogger of the YouTube channel TechTalkTV managed to test the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch and confirm its key characteristics, as well as demonstrate a working gadget in action.
The video shows the younger 41-mm version of the gadget – like the 2018 model, the device looks like a classic wristwatch. As control elements, the novelty received a rotating bezel and two hardware buttons on the right side of the case.
The gadget with model number SM-R850 received 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, and its metal case is water-resistant and certified according to the military standard MIL-STD-810G, which provides, among other things, resistance to shocks and drops. The Galaxy Watch 3’s screen is protected by Gorilla Glass DX. In addition, the smartwatch has acquired a Wi-Fi module, as well as a heart rate monitor, an ECG sensor and a blood pressure measurement function.
The smartwatch will be unveiled at the Unpacked 2020 online event on August 5.
